Everyone seems to have a different worldview on how brands are built. Trouble is, most of what you get are “opinions” rather than cold-hard facts on what drives true brand growth.
Marketing is currently undergoing a great awakening, with marketing researchers and practitioners such as Mark Ritson, Orlando Wood, Les Binet, Peter Fields, and Professor Byron Sharp of the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute for Marketing Science uncovering the forces that drive creativity and marketing effectiveness.
BrandWise Academy is a disciple of this evidence-based approach to branding.

Meet the founder of BrandWise Academy
Tom Wanek, MIPA
In May of 2001, Tom opened a local retail shop selling heavy-duty clothing and boots to trade workers. Four months after opening his shop, terrorists attacked the United States on 9/11.
Tom's bank closed his line of credit due to fear and uncertainty. He was nearly out of funds and completely outmatched in the face of two large, entrenched competitors.
With this new constraint, Tom became focused, resourceful, and more customer-oriented. He visited construction sites to observe tradesmen. Tom partnered with local businesses to bring embroidery, t-shirt printing, and other services to my store. Tom also learned that one huge sale is easier than many small ones, so he sold clothing in bulk to local factories. To help customers find more comfortable footwear, Tom learned boot fitting from a world-renowned pedorthist.
Determined to discover what works best in marketing and advertising. Tom studied the art of communication, the newest advances in neuroscience, biology, psychology, and brand management from some of the world's most effective marketers.
Tom grew and eventually sold his business by applying the knowledge he had gained over the years.
Now, Tom helps business owners transform marketing from a burden to a blessing, and he's here to help you in doing the same.
